Agreement to terms
By accessing or using the SecurePulse platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers. "You" and "user" refer to any individual or entity accessing the Service.
Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information about your legal rights, remedies, and obligations, including limitations on liability and a dispute resolution clause.
What we provide
SecurePulse provides automated website security scanning services including vulnerability detection, malware scanning, security header analysis, SSL certificate checking, and related security intelligence features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
Our scans are diagnostic tools, not guarantees. A passing scan does not certify that your website is entirely free from security risks, as the threat landscape evolves continuously.
Your account
To access most features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You agree to promptly update this information if it changes.
You may not share account credentials, create accounts for others without authorization, or use automated tools to create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Permitted & prohibited use
SecurePulse is a professional security tool. You may only scan websites you own, operate, or have explicit written permission to test.
- Scan your own websites and domains
- Scan client sites with their written consent
- Use scan results to improve your security posture
- Share reports with your team or clients
- Use the API within rate limits
- Integrate results into your security workflow
- Scanning websites without permission
- Using the service for unauthorized penetration testing
- Reselling or redistributing scan results commercially
- Attempting to reverse engineer our scanning engine
- Circumventing rate limits or access controls
- Using the service for any illegal purpose
Unauthorized scanning is illegal. Scanning websites without permission may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), GDPR, and other laws. We actively cooperate with law enforcement investigations and will terminate accounts engaged in unauthorized scanning.
Plans & subscriptions
SecurePulse offers free and paid subscription plans. Plan features, scan limits, and pricing are described on our pricing page and subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Free plans are provided as-is without service level guarantees. Paid plans include the uptime and support commitments described in the applicable Service Level Agreement (SLA).
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle; upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing.
Billing & refunds
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge you for the selected plan on a recurring basis until cancellation.
Refund policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time subscriptions. After 14 days, charges are non-refundable. No refunds are provided for partial months on monthly plans. Annual plans cancelled mid-year may receive prorated credit toward future use but no cash refunds.
Failed payments will be retried for 7 days before your account is downgraded to the free plan. Your data will be retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation.
Intellectual property
The SecurePulse platform, including its software, algorithms, scanning engine, user interface, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of SecurePulse Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret law.
You retain all rights to your website content and data. By using our Service, you grant SecurePulse a limited license to access and process your website data solely to provide the scanning services.
Scan reports generated for your websites are yours to use, share, and retain. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the SecurePulse scanning methodology or proprietary threat intelligence.
Service disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant that scans will detect all vulnerabilities — no automated tool can provide complete security assurance.
SecurePulse scan results should be used as part of a comprehensive security program, not as the sole basis for security decisions. We recommend combining our service with manual security audits for critical systems.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SECUREPULSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
Our aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain warranties or liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Account termination
You may terminate your account at any time from Account Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you unless prohibited.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limitations — will survive.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to resolve disputes informally. We commit to responding to all formal complaints within 10 business days.
Questions about these Terms?
If you have questions or concerns about these Terms of Service, please contact our legal team. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 5 business days.
